The pics are awesome, you are really getting the hang of your new camera :) It's hard to choose a favourite..the geese wading through the deep blue water with the silky wave left behind by them, or the different perspectives of the daisies -- they're all great!

I just realized that one of the pictures of the daisies didn't show so I hung it at the top.
I let Laurel play with the camera too so some of the pictures are hers with me tweaking the sizes. The geese pictures were taken at a considerable distance but the camera has great zoom and high dpi so they turned out great! Glad you like them.

Carp 9. Borscht - Yes, a Polish guy taught me how to make it, it's delicious! 10. Baba ghanoush 11. Calamari - but I don't care for eating grissle! 12. Pho 13. PB&J sandwich - and I don't like them 14. Aloo gobi 15. Hot dog from a street cart 16. Epoisses 17. Black truffle 18. Fruit wine made from something other than grapes 19. Steamed pork buns 20. Cutting Costs

With the wonderful downward spiral trend in our world economy, comes the time to tighten the proverbial belt and trim costs. Alas, this has never been a new thing for me. All my life I've learned to do with less than others. Partly because I came from a lower-middle-class family with a hard-working-drinking dad, stay-at-home mom and several kids. Partly due to the fact that I always had to share or learn to divvy things in half with my twin sister. Throw in other factors, such as moving lots so Dad could keep a decent job; later joining a full-time, non-profit group; later marrying a guy who did carpentry and then having a few children to provide for. Now that half the kids are gone you'd think it would be easier, but add the fact that I am unable to work now and depending solely on hubby's income. You get the picture yet? Here are some recent ideas I've had for dealing with the changes: I used to get my hair done every six weeks. My hairdresser friend originally wanted...
